A pregnant women with three passengers were killed when the car in which they were travelling hit a parked lorry laden with timber in Perumbavoor. The dead has been identified as Haneefa (29) of Malappuram, his wife Summayya and his brother Shajahan(27). Summayya was eight months pregnant. The accident took on the M C Road near Kalavara Hotel in Pulluvazhi early Sunday morning around 3.30 am. The event happened when they were moved to Sumayya’s house in Mundakkayam. The car in which they travelling were hit behind the lorry parked on the MC Road. First reports say the person on the driver’s seat may have dozed off which led to the accident. The bodies have been shifted to Perumbavoor taluk hospital and Perumbavoor Sanjo Hospital.
