The cabinet on Wednesday has evaluated that Covid-19 under control in state. The state cabinet have been convened here today take a decision that relaxation of lockdown in the state will be considered after knowing centre’s stand. The union cabinet is expected to take a decision of relaxation on lockdown by April 10. A final decision will be come out only after the cabinet meet convened on April13. The state demands that to ease restrictions in a phased manner than withdrawing in one-go.
Though, a decision regarding the guidelines of salary challenge has not been taken today’s cabinet. Meanwhile, Minister P Thilothaman has been said twice as much be obtained in this month and next two months for priority card holders and Antyodaya Anna Yojana card holders. Only the first of it has now been delivered. An additional 5 Kg of rice that has been obtained from the centre will be supplied from April 20. Calculating an amount of Rs 97.1 crore will be the expense for delivering and supplying it into the shops. It is said to be that there has been a decrease in the number of Covid cases in two days.
Now the situation has improved more in many districts where there has been shown an increase in the number of Covid cases. Seven districts of Kerala were declared as hotspots, Thrissur, Kannur, Ernakulam and Thiruvananthapuram , The health department has been improved of any signs of spread of the disease. The service provided by the special medical team from Thiruvananthapuram Medical college to Kasargod and the decision to help the movement of vehicles ferrying the sick travelling to Mangaluru in Karnataka for treatment have eased concerns and tensions.
