Centre ignores small scale industries in Kerala ; needs special package says CM Kerala

After announcing impetus package for MsMES, migrant workers, street  vendors  by Finance Minister Nirmala  Sitharaman and is scheduled to announce more in the coming days , Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday demanded that kerala wants special financial pakage for small scale industries and entrepreneurs. “ In the package that was announced by finance Minister CM said only the demand of sanctioning of loans was considered , that too only the mercy of banks. There has no consideration of waiver of interest during the moratorium period” , he added.  He claimed that the package has only a nominal spending from the Union government’s budget. Urging banks and industries to come closer, he said that the state government will be tried to intervene in order to benefit the entire economy.

The Kerala CM also said that the state government should need the help of the Centre to write off the charges of electricity of small-scale industries. More over that, workers in the small-scale sector need to be given financial aid, the chief minister said.

“The Union Finance Minister should be  discussed  these issues with the state finance ministers and reach with a clear strategy to help the states to be continued their healthcare and social security activities,” he added.
